THE METABOLIC PROCESSES IN THE BODY



Why some of us are fat and some are not? What causes it? Why our belly was easily expand gaining weight to restrict easy movement? The change in the condition of our body has something to do with metabolism that governed the kind of shape we have and the existing health condition we are experiencing. Sugar is carbohydrates. All foods that are rich in carbohydrates or protein is converted into energy.

Speeding up the metabolic process depends on the kind of food we take. Low fat food is less harmful compared to foods that were heavy laden with saturated fat. But they both give changes to a shape that we want to avoid but hesitant to make alteration in our own dietary plan.

Many of us are trying to regain control what has been lost in the normal condition of the body. They initiated certain kind of physical exercise for the purpose of losing weight but the effort becomes a failure.

The body insisted on speeding up the metabolism maybe because of other factors that involve that cause the slowing down of its responses.

Metabolism is one kind of process that allows the body to convert food into energy. The body needs large amount of energy level for the various body organs to be able to carry-out its essential and individual function. Any failure in metabolic process will result to disease. The internal processing system temporary stopped reacting. The life-circulating blood as the basic building block for life was affected.

Metabolism is responsible in the conversion of oxygen into carbon dioxide. It is responsible in removing any harmful and potentially lethal waste out of the body through the kidneys. It protects the basic building block the life circulation blood from impurities that may affect its life-giving performance.

Metabolic process is one aspect of body function. There are many interaction happened inside the body, series of chemical conversion taking place every day or at all times through metabolic functioning.

Metabolism is a continuing process that involves 2 opposing faction. The anabolism create cell by using certain amount of energy while catabolism create energy by breaking down cells. So metabolism allows the body to create or breakdown cells depending on the urgency of its use.

Anabolism principal function is to create tissues and cells to replace that are considered dead cells or dysfunctional (inactive) cells. The purpose of creating new skin cells is to clot the blood. The function enables the cut skin to heal slowly and easily. But catabolism functioned in different directions. The activity of the body is to breakdown the cell is to create energy to be able to carry out its normal function.

It is a fact to know that the body needed enough oxygen. If there is additional energy, it caused the breathing to increase considerably. The body taking in oxygen and getting rid out of the body the carbon dioxide. This was the normal process for the normal body functioning.

To measure energy we used a unit of measure called calories. The body has no ability to differentiate was in good or bad energy. It doesn’t care to know the source of the energy. The incapacity of the body to determine what energy is healthy or not healthy is the reason of laxity of control of gaining weight. The body always accepted whatever kinds of foods taken to the mouth. As the body received a calorie from the food eaten, he converted the energy to something he chooses.

 He may use the energy (calories) to create new cells and tissues or he will that energy (calories) to breakdown the cells. The body can utilize energy it can afford to handle and used in any given time. If there were excess calories from the food taken, the body is forced to use that energy to create cells. With the process of anabolism, the extra amount of calories will become additional weight. It further increases weight gain to higher level. Too many calories in the body brought higher energy level. The body was forced to convert the excess calories to become fat.

Getting rid of weight gain can only be done through physical activity. Burning calories is the only solution to be able to reduce weight. Exercise can cause energy output, thereby reducing fat quantity in the body. Developing a strong muscle tone can burn calories more as it boost metabolism to handle excess calories and burned it down before it can establish to become fat. 

It is important that there is a continues building of muscle and maintaining it at all times so that only extra calories in the body can be handled properly to bring goodness instead bringing harm to the already fragile situation of the body form.

DOING AN EFFECTIVE EXERCISE



We were living in a different lifestyle. The lifestyle that was not healthful to us. We allow it because it is good. Eating harmful food can damage our life we once promise to care and protect.
The only solution for all of this inactivity is by doing an exercise we hate because of our lack of interest without knowing that it is a healthy living that we denied. There are many benefits we can get by doing an exercise.
It increases density and solidness of the bones. Our heart and lungs working capacity is strengthened. It improves the way we look at our lives. It can boost our power to do things. It enables us to have deep and sound sleep. It can lighten our mood. It controls any harmful health disease. It resolves the many stresses in life. It reduces weight above normal.
We can have all of these if we do a regular exercise. What we only need is motivation and willingness to perform this kind of activities.  How to have an effective exercise plan is the hardest. There are many kind of exercise you can choose. Select only those that give you interest to perform. Spend one hour or less everyday and you feel the difference inside you after doing exertion of efforts.
Brisk walking and moderate running strengthened the performance of our heart. It burns more calories in a single day. Training by use of dumbbell and other weightlifting objects make muscles and bones stronger including connective tissues of our body. Having an aerobic exercise can make effective pumping of the heart.
Do it 1 hour or less 3 to 4 times a week to give the body time to recover. When you do a heavy workout during the day, rest is required on the next day. Don't exercise over the capacity of the body to handle. Exercise in moderation. No need to see the result in short span of time. It will need time before you see the result. Just continue and make it a habit. You can increase the frequency of your exercise but don't overdo it.
Exercise can be interesting. You can do this anytime of the day. If you do this regularly, it will become a habit to you. Any tiredness will disappear. The stiff muscles can be stretch out making it more flexible and elastic. Constant physical activities make your feeling more relax.

LET'S DO AN EXERCISE

Many books and instruction manuals had been written whose purpose is aiding people to do an exercise to keep the body healthy. It had been repeated a thousand times how this activities can benefit the body to function well. With exercise it maintains a healthy weight, avoid being obese, more density of bones, solidness of the muscles and strengthening the body immune system.

By exercising, it strengthen the muscles. It keeps the blood cholesterol to a normal level. Body fats can be controlled. It prevents any life-threatening diseases. There are many ways in doing an exercise. It depends on your choice. From exercising slow, rigid, pressured, fast depends on how the body takes this kind of exercise. A moderate exercise is common and most helpful. For those who have health problem, slow exercise is advisable.

Choose a kind of exercise that you is best for you and perform it in accordance with your ability and endurance. Exercise has limitations. It depends on how you conduct this form of exercise. Not all persons can do an exercise regimen. One restriction is due to health reasons. But for those that are physically active, this is for you.

Limit the duration of your exercise. Set reasonable minutes as your limitations. Do this daily. Don't force the body to do that only harm you. Be careful and be wise. Inappropriate exercise is not good for you. After your exercise, take rest to give your body time to recover. We understand that once you do an exercise, your heart beats faster, your gulping enough air to be able to breath. That's the reason why you have to rest.

Doing an exercise can feel you relax. It boosts your self-esteem. It gives a chance for a sound sleep. It builds confidence to yourself. Exercise returns back your depleted energy. Stress goes out from the system.

WHY I AM SO TIRED?

There are many reasons of being tired. If the body losses energy we felt tired. Energy became the firing element for us to continue working from sunrise to sundown without feeling exhausted. Taking regular meals with fruits and vegetables let the body more responsive to our every action. All our organs demanded that the body do physical activities for the system to function well.

Fruits and vegetables contains vitamins and minerals and other nutrients. This are the energy-giving elements helpful to correct tiredness. Being tired is an early sign that something is happening in the body especially if it comes suddenly.

Depression is one cause the body to act differently. This is a very serious health condition that should be addressed immediately by the attending physician to determine the extend of the depressive behavior.

Feeling tired in performing work schedule or any other activities without any reasons can be suspected that something is developing inside the body. This is a warning sign that we have to look into with great attention.

There are many factors that lead to tiredness. It maybe physical, emotional and mental. Physically our muscles and joints become weak. There is a burning sensation in some parts of the body where the pain is located, then tiredness follows.

Stressful events of the day can cause tiredness of the body and mind. Wakefulness and mental alertness are decreasing. Even lack of sleep causes tiredness. If we are very tired we don't want to perform our physical activity and looked to have rest most of the time.

We are tired because our energy was depleted and incapable of handling the tasks. Re-charging is needed in order to continue working. If we are tired, we have difficulty to decide, poor motivation and lack of concentration. Our sleep pattern was disrupted causing restlessness and wakefulness. The body ache, mental alertness is gone.

How can we correct temporarily the tiredness we have during the day?

-We have to rest early without interruption.

-Relaxing music before going to sleep will do to remove ordinary stress.

-A very quite room can induce you to sleep.

-Taking good meals. Trying to be physically active.

If the tiredness persisted more severely for several days, then medical attention is necessary.

FEAR: CAN YOU CONTROL IT?

All of us have our own phobias. We have fear to something our mind cannot take it any longer. It is a traumatic experience that brought intense fear in our mind even how we tried to control it. This disturbing feeling keep coming back to us. We loses courage to overcome it. Our heart were racing fast and our responses were immediate. It produces adrenalin to the very fabric of our subconscious mind pouring into our bloodstream the energy giving action for flight.

In an incident of fire in your surrounding even if it was quite a distance from your house, seeing the fire started eating the house of your neighbors, you suddenly developed fear. With black smoke at first, then later on the fire was now visible in your eyes. Your reflex reaction told you to act immediately. Your mind quickly respond to the call to secure whatever precious things you have in your house thinking that the fire will become bigger and may expand to other houses nearest your own. Even if the object has a weight more than your own but you lifted it easily without any help. Your adrenalin puts your muscles and feet strong and fast going and returning back again and again until the most important items were move in a distance away from your house. And when the fear subsided, you lose your energy, feel exhausted and tired, wondering why you able to lift a heavier object quickly. The reason is because of the phobia, the fear of the fire.

How will you combat your fear? You can... if you will change the way your mind behavior to think other way around. By not losing your composure and fight against it helps minimize your fear. You have to accept that this disturbing experiences is upon us at all times. It is a natural way of responding to emergency. Our mind has the ability to act immediately without being told. It has an automatic responses instructing the muscles to act quickly.

One way you have to do is to have presence of mind. The fear you have won't kill you. Breath deeply and quickly. It helps control the fear that started building inside you . Use the tighten-relaxed method. Even if you feel very tense, it will be released and help you relax.

If you are caught in a situation in a high building. As the building swayed because of an earthquake, your impulses immediately overtaken you and you become very anxious and wanted to run away blindly.

Running may give you a risk of falling. The best thing you will do is to turn away slowly and find any exit point. It is more secure if you go down by using stairs than using elevators. The chances is that you may possibly stuck up in the elevator shaft and has a hard time finding where to go.


Phobia is a bothering emotion in an unexpected situation. The only weapon against it is for you to remain calm. You composure must be intact. You must have an open mind to think the best way to escape from the present situation when your fear started controlling you.
