ALCOHOL INVITES TROUBLE



Can you afford living without taking alcoholic drinks? I don’t think so. It was a fact that alcohol is already part of our culture. History told us how liquor took part in their existence. So are we!

Now in the modern society, the same thing happened in our lives. If abused it control and slave us. This was the source of many conflicts in the family. An alcoholic ruined his future completely. By just thinking to stop gives him hell. It was the torture that if he can’t taste the liquid into his mouth, the thirst was too much to bear. Once it started drinking, stopping is the hardest.

Many drivers in the vehicles did not understand the phrase “Drinking liquor while driving is dangerous”. This was one of the problems we faced today, the ignorance of some people about safety precaution. If there is benefit in drinking a little - it outweigh the damaging effect to health.

The starting point of learning how to drink came from socializing with friends. As it goes on it becomes his obsession to drink. A group of drinkers will influence his sanity and destroy whatever left in his civility.

Some broken marriages started in few sip of drinks until the urge was established and hard to control. The security of the job was threatened. Better relationship with others was strained. A social drinker becomes an alcoholic, the life he started to destroy.

Here comes the damaging effect to one’s health:

If our cardiovascular system is healthy, the heart worked well. Any distortion will cause the heart to have a disease. Most often a diseased heart brought many complications, palpitation and even death. A small amount of alcohol taken even mildly will alter the normal heart function and affect other body organs.

 How much more if taken regularly or being abused? How many lives will be lost due to less concern to their health? How can they afford to trade it with their normal lives? Where their common sense go? 
 
The long term effect from alcoholism is frightening. Major terminal cancers (esophagus, larynx and throat) worsened when the body is in the influence of liquor.

Extreme alcoholic drinking was the cause of the cirrhosis of the liver. It damages the immune system responsible for the protection of many types of infection. It causes possible brain damage. It was the reason of many accidents in the streets, accident from the job and other situational accidents.

 There was carelessness in his movements, lacking mental alertness, unsteady posture because of grogginess and emotional explosion he can’t hold. It strained monetary capacity by spending his savings from his unproductive drinking habit. It causes trouble in the family, broken marriage and alienation of children’s feeling to their father and the reason of financial difficulties.

He neglected his function as breadwinner of the family. He doesn’t want to work and became lazy. His physical health is a mess. He can’t even do better physical hygiene to clean himself. The bad smell of liquor penetrated deep into his skin. His eyes were red and sleepy. He was the irresponsible man in the house neglecting himself and his family. He was a total wreck.

His emotional explosion causes him to harm anybody and got arrested due to inflicted physical injury he caused to a man.  It seemed he doesn’t care anymore about life and his responsibilities. The distortion of his thought process put him to be highly dangerous. His power of control he completely ignored.

If too drunk, it causes mental black-out, hang-over, vomiting, and memory lapses. If he can’t drink, he experienced nausea, bout of insomnia, heavy sweating, shakiness of his movement especially hands, tension muscles and waning strength to stop. 

His craving for satisfaction was so strong. Only by drinking he can possibly pacify his unquenchable thirst.

An alcoholic still has hope if he has strong will to make a change to be able to free himself from the claw of dependency. It was understandable that to completely stop is not an easy job to do unless the honesty in his heart and mind is pure to do the impossible.

The deterioration of the condition of his health is a proof how alcohol affected every fibers, organs and systems of the body that later on created an intentional health condition. There still hope for them. Total avoidance is difficult but responsible drinking can make a difference. Drinking is part of our culture. It can never be denied that we are a slave to it.

How about you?  If you really wanted to drink because of peer pressure, make it a point that it is not abused. If moderate drinking in allowed in our society then make it so. But remember, alcohol still a threat to health whether you take it little or more. If you insist then take it at your own risk.

DOING AN EFFECTIVE EXERCISE



We were living in a different lifestyle. The lifestyle that was not healthful to us. We allow it because it is good. Eating harmful food can damage our life we once promise to care and protect.
The only solution for all of this inactivity is by doing an exercise we hate because of our lack of interest without knowing that it is a healthy living that we denied. There are many benefits we can get by doing an exercise.
It increases density and solidness of the bones. Our heart and lungs working capacity is strengthened. It improves the way we look at our lives. It can boost our power to do things. It enables us to have deep and sound sleep. It can lighten our mood. It controls any harmful health disease. It resolves the many stresses in life. It reduces weight above normal.
We can have all of these if we do a regular exercise. What we only need is motivation and willingness to perform this kind of activities.  How to have an effective exercise plan is the hardest. There are many kind of exercise you can choose. Select only those that give you interest to perform. Spend one hour or less everyday and you feel the difference inside you after doing exertion of efforts.
Brisk walking and moderate running strengthened the performance of our heart. It burns more calories in a single day. Training by use of dumbbell and other weightlifting objects make muscles and bones stronger including connective tissues of our body. Having an aerobic exercise can make effective pumping of the heart.
Do it 1 hour or less 3 to 4 times a week to give the body time to recover. When you do a heavy workout during the day, rest is required on the next day. Don't exercise over the capacity of the body to handle. Exercise in moderation. No need to see the result in short span of time. It will need time before you see the result. Just continue and make it a habit. You can increase the frequency of your exercise but don't overdo it.
Exercise can be interesting. You can do this anytime of the day. If you do this regularly, it will become a habit to you. Any tiredness will disappear. The stiff muscles can be stretch out making it more flexible and elastic. Constant physical activities make your feeling more relax.

YOUR HEALTH IS MY CONCERN!

You probably agree with me that the chances of living a life with no major health problem are somewhat slim. Every year, many persons went to the hospital, some recovered, others died. Most of their sickness are man-made because they disregarded the physical law of being healthy.

Statistics shows that the mortality rate from modern degenerative disease were increasing every year. But it does not end there. Sign of physical degeneration has been found in the group of 20's. Old age is far from being the only prerequisite for degenerative disease because it will strike to those careless people of putting their health at risk.

Once we reach middle age, our life expectancy will be shorten. Lifestyle, exercise and dietary habits were the key parameters in the health equation. The person's health depend on how he lives and the way he eat. It has to do with his state of health.

Whether we like it or not, there are roles to be played and followed if we want to have human vigor, resistance to disease and longevity. If this rules is violated, nature will take its revenge in the form of disease. But when it is obeyed, man's life can be full and remarkably free from physical impairment.

The dietary habits of many of us are one of the supreme ironies of modern history. Our processed food is laden with dyes, preservatives, thickeners, etc. We consumed too much sugar. Sugar was the prime additive in vending machine, hamburger stands, ice cream parlors and many others. We cannot live without sugar in our everyday need.

The obvious way to avoid such nutritional pitfalls is to avoid over consumption of processed refined foods if possible. Proper cooking method can help. Balance is another important factors in food intake. Over-reliance of one basic food type can lead to future health problems. Unusual diet and over-use of food supplement should also be avoided. Vitamin C supplement may be helpful, but if taken mega-dose will lead to various digestive complication if wrongly administered.

Obviously, every individual has to seek out his own optimum level of food intake. One key in any diet plan is to avoid a radical departure from your present eating habits. Before making any changes, be sure to have a thorough knowledge of your problem and sought advices from nutritional and medical expert as necessary.

In a develop nation, muscle power was replaced by machine power. We measure the quality of life on how easy our work is, how abundant our time and how many labor saving gadget we have at our disposal. Our muscle weakens for lack of use. Bodies bulge with fat because of excess calories.

Health and longevity don't depend exclusively on rippling muscles and slender contours. Physical fitness is determined by the condition of the heart, the size and elasticity of the arteries that feed blood to the heart, and the elasticity of the lungs. No part of the body can survive without the services of the heart and bloodstream.

Review your health condition. If you find that you are not on the list of physically active, then change it and make necessary correction.

OBESITY: A DANGER TO LIFE

Modern lifestyle was the result why people become obese. Why they became obese? Because of their own kind of lifestyle. Their food intake were high in fat and sugar. They were lacking of vitamins and minerals important to body's full development.

There are risks when someone is obese. It will not attack you now but later on you will understand the need to reduce your weight if you feel that something is happening inside your body that you cannot explain. There will be hypertension, heart disease, diabetes and arthritis, to name a few. This are the common diseases aside from others that only appears when you are directly hit with it.

If someone is obese, his physical body do some changes. There were an increase in the density of his muscles, bones, most probably fats around the body. Being obese means the accumulated fats find a place in the tummy and bulging. His face thickened. Looking at it is not likable to anyone. He himself even discourage to see his physical body in the mirror.

Too much fat has too much cholesterol also. When the bad cholesterol able to clog the blood vessels and arteries then stroke may happen anytime due to hypertension. It was common to obese person. The risk of stroke is very high.

If you are being hit without warning, it may either you become paralyzed or you may die or either way around. This was how terrible the result if you are not careful to maintain a desirable weight.


A good nutrition can aid in losing weight. Reduction of weight is a must. As we are beginning to aged slowly, our metabolism make some changes. The body cannot burn-out fats easily. The fats will continue to accumulate if no proper steps is taken to reduce it. Reducing weight need time.

In the event of gaining weight continuously, do the following:

-Exercise is proven to reduce obesity.

-Changing lifestyle by avoiding food rich in fat. Having vegetables in every meal can help eliminate fat to a manageable level.

-Choose food that supply the nutrients. Control your intake of calories (carbohydrates) to avoid gaining weight.

-Create your own healthy eating plan. It will be your guide that the food you eat is nutritious and healthy.

It is not yet too late if your start now. Keep the body healthy and you can assure that it can give you a longer life. Do it fast before its too late.
